By Mitzy Rdz....The Terracotta Army

The Terracotta Army is one of the top attractions in China, because of its historical significance and uniqueness. It is significant because the hundreds of detailed lifesize models represent the army that triumphed over all other Chinese armies and who were the decisive factor in forming a united China.

The Terracotta Army Museum lies 2 km east of The Tomb of Qin Shihuang, known as the First Emperor, who unified China 2,200 years ago. Emperor Qin, from whom China .

The army of terracotta statues was made to be buried with First Emperor Qin Shihuang:

*as a show of his glory

*o remember the army that triumphed over the other Warring States to unite China, and because it was believed that objects like statues can be animated in the afterlife, and because Qin Shihuang required an after-death army.

The Terracotta Army and the tomb of Emperor Qin Shihuang took 38 years and 720 thousand builders to complete. The Terracotta Army was buried for 2,200 years. So far 1,868 terracotta warriors and chariots have been unearthed.

The Terracotta Army figures’ excavation is regarded as one of thegreatest discoveries of the 20th century. It had lain underground for more than 2000 years before farmers digging a well in 1974 uncovered what is now considered one of the greatest archaeological sites in the world. The first part of the Terracotta Army site to be discovered was named Vault One. In 1976, two other vaults were uncovered 20-25 meters away, and were named Vault Two and Vault Three. The tomb is a treasury for the Chinese people and for the whole world. In December 1987, UNESCO selected the Tomb of the First Emperor (including the Terracotta Army Vaults) as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

THE FIRST WORLD WAR

By Marcial Carballo

The last 28Th July 2014 was celebrated 100 year of the beginning of the First World War also called the Great War, in this conflict participated Germany, the Austria-Hungary Empire and the Ottoman Empire, they were known as the triple Alliance against USA, United Kingdom, France and Russia, they were Known as The Allies. This war ended the 11th November 1918, the Allies won it and there were nine millions people killed.
Few people known that Germany invited (by telegram) to Mexico to join to the triple Alliance and declare the war to USA, Germany offered to return Arizona, New Mexico and Texas, in case of victory, to Mexico. Venustiano Carranza was the Mexican president in this time, he analyzed the offer and he decided to refused it, because he thought in the consequences, I think that he took the best decision

Flor Ortiz:Discrimination

it's a serious topic because now is very common in our lives and is sad.

when other people tell you that you way you dress, the way you talk or thinking, are incorrect,  are examples of discrimination.

we are individual people, You have the capacity of choose what is better for you and this is OK, obviously when you respect and not affect the freedom of others.

Discrimination can happen in wherever for example in your school or job.

Is very important not silenced, please report  to  somebody who  can help you.

Say NO to  discrimination !!!!!!

The power of now

By: Victor Hurtado

This post is about a writter called Eckhart Tolle, spent several years wandering unemployed (he was a bum) and  in a deep suicidal depression when he was 29 years old, one night he woke up in the middle of the night with darkness in his room  and he experience a epiphany. Recounting the experience Tolle says: I couldn’t live with myself any longer. And in this a question arose without an answer: who is the ‘I’ that cannot live with the self? What is the self? I felt drawn into a void! I didn’t know at the time that what really happened was the mind-made self, with its heaviness, its problems, that lives between the unsatisfying past and the fearful future, collapsed. It dissolved. The next morning I woke up and everything was so peaceful. The peace was there because there was no self. Just a sense of presence or “beingness,” just observing and watching.

This book is about spiritual enlightenment and perhaps you are questioning yourself what is it? living in the now, is live the moment like when you're go to a jog or ride a bike, swim, go to the gym anything that you have to be fully concentrate that your thoughts passes through your mind and you only watch them and keep running.
In other words the now is when you don't have time to say oh my god i have to pay this and that, or when you overthink a situation that is in the future or keep recalling for something you did in the past.
Because you aren't your mind, your mind works for you, you have to decide what to do, not the mind tells you what you have to do.

Spirituality is principal you have to comprehend that some great power create us, called it whatever you want to: Buda, Christ, Ganesh, Krishna, etc. If you are aware of that you are more awake than the others.

If you have to do one thing do it, is your first chance or last to do it you don't know when you going to have another chance to do that. If you have the chance to do or not do, always choose do.

This men has no religion but he believes in some greater power that gave us this world and this body to do the best for ourselfs
